HIS series — high power, liquid cooled, SiC-based

The HIS series is a high-density soft-switching isolated DC/DC converter with integrated 3D liquid cooling. Power density exceeds 6 kW/L and peak efficiency reaches 98.5%. Zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) technology significantly reduces switching loss and electromagnetic interference.

Isolation technology removes insulation risk in the cooling system.

  • Flexible adaptation — fits fuel cells across power and voltage ranges
  • Wide application — stationary power, rail, marine, road transport
  • Custom solutions — tailored to specific power and voltage requirements
  • Full input-output isolation, 3500 Vdc withstand

Why isolation matters here. An isolated topology separates the stack from the downstream bus, removing the conduction path that can otherwise place stack voltage on the coolant circuit. For hydrogen installations this is a safety requirement, not a performance preference.

H-NS Series Buck-Boost DC/DC Converter

The H-NS series is developed specifically for stationary hydrogen fuel cell power generation and forklift drivetrains, where a non-isolated topology lowers cost and reduces mass without compromising the stack.

DC/DC questions we are asked

How do I choose the right DC/DC converter for my fuel cell stack?
Match three numbers: the stack's continuous rated power, its output voltage window at full and minimum load, and the DC bus voltage your inverter or load expects. The converter must be rated above the stack power, must accept the entire stack voltage window including startup transients, and must regulate to the target bus. If you give us those three figures we will propose the model.
What is the difference between HIS and DIS series converters?
Both are isolated liquid-cooled converters for high-power fuel cell work. The HIS series runs 80 kW to 240 kW with input 150–550 Vdc and reaches 98% rated efficiency. The DIS series runs 100 kW to 300 kW, adds IP67 sealing and a −40 to 65 °C operating range for outdoor and mobile use, with CAN 2.0B communication.
Do you offer non-isolated converters?
Yes. The H-NS buck-boost series is non-isolated, covering 2 kW to 8 kW at 20 V to 170 V, developed for stationary generation and forklift applications where cost and mass matter more than galvanic isolation.
Can the converter be installed as a bare module?
Yes. The ZIS series is available both as a module for integration into your own enclosure and as a complete machine with an independent housing. Cooling options cover natural, air and liquid cooling.
